All our classes at Nene Valley Dance Academy are streamed into age groups and levels so that each individual will benefit from the class he or she is taking. Our levels include Children (see individual age groups), Beginner and Intermediate.

You do not need to have danced for years to enjoy this form of dance we cater for beginner’s right through to professionals. Classes start at the Barre and move on to centre work the classic formation of a Ballet class.
Freestyle and Rock ‘n’ Roll
This fun and upbeat class is suitable for all ages to enjoy. During this class, technique is important for the individual to master the style of dancing where correct posture is essential to properly execute the fast, strong and sharp moves.
A general term for the styles we teach such as break dance, popping, locking, hip hop new style, house dance and electro dance.
This dance class incorporates both modern dance and classical ballet but without the structure of both classes. It focuses on technique as well as helping pupils to mater new routines that can include floor work and travelling phrases.
Ballroom and Latin American
Have you watched Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing With The Stars and fancied having a go at the cha cha cha or the Waltz? If so this could be the class for you.
Singing lessons give everyone the opportunity to master and develop skills dependent on your ability. Classes can be taught in a group or privately focusing on things such as technique, performance and song repertoire.
Musical Theatre is a form of theatre that combines songs, acting, and dance. Master a different musical every week and put all your skills to the test.
